Mizuno MP 53 Irons Review

Mizuno has won a high reputation for its top-rated forging irons. Mizuno is proud of its special soft metal forging technology which is used mainly on MP53 and MP63 series. Different from the previous MP series, the MP 53 appears to be a traditional club, but if you look at it at a short distance, you will get great feel the MP 53 takes to you. Mizuno changes the traditional approaches to increase forgiveness by lengthening the clubhead and thickening sole and top line. This company adopts its own forging technology for higher MOI and forgiveness when keeping or even increasing the head accuracy and playability.

The most important technology incorporated in the MP 53 belongs to the “Diamond Muscle” on the back which is able to increase the sole weight for a high head MOI. The higher MOI is gained by “V” slot CNC Milled Pocket Cavity for it redistributed the weight. This makes the MP53 have the highest MOI among MP iron. For a better sound and feel, the MP 53 uses Harmonic Impact Technology and Model Analysis. After a lot of experiments, Mizuno has improved the sound successfully. The MP 53 uses 360° grind top line and sole for pleading look and ideal turf interaction. The MP 53 can also provide ultimate soft, solid and consistent feel to you because it uses patented grain flow forged 1025E “Pure Select” mild carbon steel. The modified U-grooves of the MP 53 produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions. They also conform to the Condition of Competition 2010.

Our testers provided their comments about these MP 53 Irons: The MP 53 not only brought me excellent performance but also great feel. It is easy for me to hit the ball when I use the MP 53 irons, and they elongate the ball flight time. The combination of all the technologies used by the MP 53 irons makes them one of the best irons I’ve ever used, and I believe that you will not regret forever if you buy them because they can give you a new feel and experience. A tester said that I was struggling with my irons
