Mizuno MP 53 Irons Review

The look of MP 53 is simple. The MP 53 iron is the most playable MP iron Mizuno has ever produced. With the Dual Muscle Technology and a patented CNC-milled pocket cavity, the performance of MP 53 iron is better than its predecessors. An outer muscle pad embodied in the first technology provides a precisely placed, lower and deeper CG, which enhances the playability. While an inner muscle pad provides feel and unparalleled feedback. With two deep crescents milled into the club head, the MP53 features a lower and much deeper COG for the redeployment of 14 grams of mass, which can provide increased playability even on mis-hits and superior launch. This model is designed to conform to the 2010 condition of competition rule. The MP 53 irons are not intended for the blade set, they are intended to attract those mid handicappers who have always felt that previous MP models were not forgiving enough for them. They are aimed at those who have played player’s clubs in the past, but now want a little more forgiveness.

Many testers hold the views that: the ball flies off the clubface with ease. And you don’t have terrible shots on mis-hits. You can also work the ball very well with these irons. They are very nice clubs, feel very good and perform very nice. They are very workable when hitting fade and draws. But if you miss hit them expect to come up about 15-20 yards short. When you hit a good shot you do not even feel the ball strike the club. But, when you hit a bad shot, you know you are in trouble before it even lands. The MP 53 irons can be played by most mid to low handicap players.
