Continuing the award winning success of Cut MuscleTM technology, the Mizuno product development team has developed a new muscle back iron featuring an innovative "Slender" Cut Muscle design. This new Slender Cut MuscleTM allows the player complete ball control by pin-pointing the COG inside the muscle back design. Utilizing our Grain Flow Forging® and Cut MuscleTM technology, the design team was able to provide a neutral COG relative to the shaft axis and a consistent sweet spot location for exact trajectory and distance control. The cambered sole of the MP-67TM allows the player precise shot making capability from all types of lies. The MP-67TM long irons achieve a mid-high trajectory, (Mizuno MP-67 Iron Set) while the scoring irons deliver a mid trajectory.
The MP-67TM offers unmatched ball control by utilizing a new "Slender" Cut MuscleTM Design to precisely position the COG from iron to iron.
Innovative Muscle Back with "Slender" Cut Muscle? design provides ideal COG locations, perfect trajectory, enhanced solid feel, and the ultimage in ball control.
Futures: 1. NEW Grain Flow Forged, 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel provides the ultimate soft, solid, consistent feel; 2. Durable Double nickel chrome plated finish; 3. Modified U-grooves produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions; 4. Rolled leading edge, cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge deliver consistent striking ability from all types of lies.

An iron definitely aimed at the better golfer, the 2007 MP-67 Mizuno Irons are a beautifully designed set of clubs that look great, featuring the characteristics of Mizunos classic blades.
Like with the MP-62 ironns from Mizuno, these clubs definitely require a good and repeatable golf swing in order to be effective in players hands.
As with most blade irons, good strikes feel great, and are rewarded with a good looking shot. The clubs really can feel so effortless at times, and really smooth at impact. (Mizuno MP-68 Irons) You will know when you've hit the ball well and have made a good swing.
However one thing that was very clear was that mis-hits with the MP-67s are relatively short distance wise. The forgiveness accuracy wise isn't too bad for blades, but hit a shot poorly and you likely wont be making the green.
The general results were that a poorly hit shot was about 1 club to 2 clubs short on average through the set. Meaning an MP-67 6 iron poorly hit, goes roughly as far as a 7 or 8 iron would with a good strike.
But the lack of distance on the non-perfect hits with these Mizuno irons, is made up for by the very impressive feel and workability that they give players. A capable low handicapper who practices regularly should have no trouble setting up for a high launch on an approach shot, or drilling the ball in low in higher winds.
The mid and longer MP-67 irons in particular were quite impressive for being versatile with approach shots. With many other iron sets it can be difficult at times to stop the golf ball quickly on the green with the longer irons. But these irons really do get the ball responding and spinning well on landing, again though this was on the good strikes. Mis-hits that did hit the green with the MP-67s, like with most irons, didn't respond quite so well.
Hitting a fade or draw can be easily achieved with these an MP-67 iron. (Mizuno JPX E600 Iron Set) Though when setting up for one of those types of shots, it's important to hit the ball well and put a good swing on the club.
As mis-hits when setting up for a draw or a fade, could dramatically over do the effect you're after, and produce something close to a full on hook or slice.
Despite this though, as mentioned a slight amount of forgiveness is there, but you have to have a consistent swing that repeats. An inconsistent swing will produce very inconsistent results with the Mizuno MP-67s.
If you're about an 8 or a 9 handicap or lower, and do want to improve and be a better player. You should give these Mizuno irons a look. They force you to make the effort to get better and improve your swing. Because you will need to have a good swing and find the sweet.

MP-59 Irons Review
Golf club makers fell in love with titanium because it's stronger and lighter than steel. That means designers can make thinner driver faces, which creates discretionary weight that can be repositioned in other areas to improve performance.
Mizuno, a leader in golf technology and innovation, today announced the addition of the mizuno mp-59 irons to their already iconic muscle back lineup. Blending the input of Mizuno’s PGA Tour staff member with state of the art design and simulation tools, the mp-59 irons are the perfect balance of patented Grain Flow Forged, feel, and unmatched workability.
But with the release of the new mizuno mp-59 irons, Mizuno uses titanium for a completely different purpose—forgiveness. While the mp-59 irons are made from steel, 12 grams of titanium are forged into a pocket behind the face of each club. (It's the slightly darker material in the photo above.) Mizuno says the titanium allows the clubs to maintain the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel while automatically redistributing the weight to the heel, toe and sole of the club.
Mizuno mp-59, the next generation of our award winning Ti Muscle Technology, delivers full cavity forgiveness in a player’s half cavity design. During the elaborate Grain Flow Forging process, the pure Titanium material is forged into the muscle of the mizuno mp-59 to deliver a 5% larger Sweet Area compared to the MP-58, the iron that debuted Ti Muscle Technology while taking home ‘Editor’s Choice” in Golf Digest’s 2010 Hot List.
The lightweight characteristics of the pure Titanium allows for the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area to deliver consistent solid feel while simultaneously providing a dramatic increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability. To date, only Mizuno's patented Grain Flow Forging process can deliver this technological advancement that produces these amazing gains in forgiveness, all within a compact, traditional head shape.

Add Mizuno MP-59 to Your Bag
When I first started chatting with the Mizuno people about getting some irons to review, I was excited. The new MP line was coming out and their MP-69s looked exactly like the blades I once had owned in my Titleist 690-MBs. It's true, nobody, not even Tiger Woods, needs to hit blades with the technology out there these days, but having those in the bag is just cool. Sadly, the curse of the southpaw got me, as I was informed the 69s wouldn't be molded lefty.
The disappointed lasted until the box of Mizuno MP-59 Irons arrived. A "full cavity forgiveness in a player's half cavity design" as their site informs us, the Mizuno MP-59 Irons are exactly what I was looking for. Playing 18 holes with my uncle, the most popular cart partner in my golfing Rolodex, confirmed it. He admitted that carrying these irons would get more of the "player that thinks he needs blades even though he doesn't" group interested, because they're just so darn good looking without all the additions that can make certain irons look clunky.
The Mizuno MP-59 Irons feature a lightweight Titanium insert forged directly into the back of the club head. The thicker Ti Muscle material behind impact ensures that the centre of gravity is located closer to the clubface, which allows better players the ability to work shots whilst still offering the forgiveness of the cavity-back design.
The Mizuno MP-59 Irons is an evolution of the successful MP-58 model. With the Ti weight added to the Mizuno MP-59 Irons, off-center strikes will benefit from even greater stability. The appearance of the MP-59s is also improved by reducing the offset as a result of this improved stability. Thanks to the help of Mizuno's Tour Staff, the Mizuno MP-59 Irons now features a thinner top-line, a weightier sole and a new sole grind.
Great irons!! I just got them a couple of weeks ago (3-pw) and love them. As a lefty, I was surprised to have them so quickly. I was fitted for them at a demo day with Dynamic Gold XP S-300's and -1 flat. The first hit with the 6 iron is when I knew I had to have them. Previous irons were Callaway X-22 tours with Nippon 990's. Great feel and sound!!

Outstanding MP59 Irons
To put it simply, the Mizuno MP-59 irons look good. Part of the visual appeal of the Mizuno MP-59 irons is the fact they look like a muscle back iron. You can tell Mizuno spent adequate time designing the Mizuno MP-59 irons because they seamlessly blended the forgiveness of a cavity back with the look of a blade. The compact, traditional head shape allows you to feel confident standing over your golf ball knowing you look like a golfer who has game. And in golf, looking good and feeling good is half the battle!
During the elaborate Grain Flow Forging process, 12 grams of pure Titanium material is forged into the muscle of the Mizuno MP-59 irons to deliver a 5% larger Sweet Area compared to the MP-58, the iron which debuted Ti Muscle Technology, while taking home "Editor's Choice" in Golf Digest's 2010 Hot List. This provides the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel, while the higher density steel on the toe, heel, and sole provides a dramatic increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability. This Mizuno MP-59 irons design allows for an easier launch and more forgiveness due to both a lower Center of Gravity (COG) and larger sweet spot area. This revolutionary Ti Muscle technology maximizes feel and forgiveness, all in a compact players' head size.
"With Mizuno's Ti Muscle technology, we've preserved the soft feel and compact head size that Mizuno MP players expect, while increasing forgiveness, which is truly the "holy grail" combination of performance characteristics for today's more serious players," said Dick Lyons VP and General Manager, Mizuno USA, Inc. "The Mizuno MP-59 irons are ground breaking in concept and design, with a look, feel, and play unlike any forged iron Mizuno has delivered to date."
The forged Ti Muscle Technology of the Mizuno MP-59 irons is evident from the first swing. The titanium insert forged behind the impact area provides a solid feel and it provides just the right amount of forgiveness. I'm not a scratch golfer so I can't afford to be penalized on the course with an off center shot. But, at the same time, I don't want to play golf with a shovel so I want feedback when I'm not making solid contact. With the Mizuno MP-59 irons , you get the feedback you want and the forgiveness you need.

Can Help You Control MP59 Irons
The titanium muscle that first appeared on the MP-58 remains, but has been redesigned for the Mizuno MP-59 irons. The head looks slightly more compact at address, but there is still noticeably more forgiveness compared to the shallow cavity MP-53 models.
When placed up next to the new MP-69 blade, there is very little difference in top line. This will scare some, but there is more surface area on the Mizuno MP-59, which makes these look a fraction more forgiving.
We have always been big fans of the solid performance of the classic Dynamic Gold shaft by True Temper. They reward good swings with strong flights, which particularly helps distance control.
Mizuno has used the Golf Pride M21 grips for the Mizuno MP-59 irons. As you would expect, these offer a good blend of feel and stability that neatly complements the performance of the head itself.

The Grain Flow Forged material that makes up the MP-59 irons provides a soft and consistent experience at impact, while the titanium forged into the head delivers even more of a solid feel. A double-nickel chrome finish, highlighted with a black chrome stainless steel accent, gives an elegant and durable finish that player's desire.
Utilizing Harmonic Impact Technology (H.I.T.), Mizuno perfectly tuned the sound at impact to deliver the ultimate feel. Modified U-grooves, which conform to the Condition of Competition 2010, produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.
Right and Left Hand Available
Shaft: Dynamic Gold S300
Grip: Golf Pride M-21
Other Options available through Mizuno's Custom Department
Suggested Retail Price: $999.99
Available: Mid-September 2011
Beautifully finished, the Mizuno MP-59 irons performed extremely well. The flight was consistent and the initial launch was high through the set. Headshape was excellent although this design was slightly ‘toe deep’ giving it a bulkier look. The blade was quite long, but this is ideal for the majority of players looking for a muscle-back with forgiveness. Off-centre strikes still flew well.

You Must Choose MP-69 Irons
Let’s not beat around the bush, the mizuno mp-69 irons are not designed for the weekend warrior who measures his success on the course by the number of golf balls he netted for the day. No, the mp-69 irons are designed for the serious golfer, the one who knows the difference between a slice and a fade and who cares how his golf ball will react once it hits the green. If you are one or want to be one of those golfers, then I would encourage you to read further. Heck, even if you are not, I still would encourage you to read further because you might decide to change your mind!
Following on from the highly-successful mp-68 irons, the new blades have been designed to offer workability and high levels of feel to the more accomplished golfer. Mizuno engineers designed a 4D Muscle innovation that means golfers can expect a slightly higher trajectory with the longer irons, and a more penetrative ball flight in the shorter sticks where distance control is crucial. In terms of looks, the mizuno mp-69 is as visually-pleasing as their predecessors but there is certainly a larger element of forgiveness about the new clubs, in spite of their bladed appearance.
The long golf set features a thinner muscle at the top of the clubface for a lower centre of gravity and increased head speed, while the muscle on the shorter irons is fractionally thicker at the top for increased feel and control. The sole design should help turf interaction through impact. The double nickel chrome plating supplies an elegant and durable finish to the irons.
I've been playing MP32's for the past 2 season; I'd love to give these a try out! From what I've seen all the shops around here subscribe to the, must play cavity back clubs, syndrome...that said, I plan on having my club fitter build a complete set that is MOI matched and I'll play whatever he thinks will give me the biggest advantage in regards to cavity or blade.....

MP-59 Irons Review
Today, I will talk about mizuno mp-59 irons. The forged feel has been combined with a titanium pad in the back of the head to optimize forgiveness. Mizuno Golf is the latest to bring out new irons for the winter golf shop purchasing cycle and the new golf set forged irons look like a real winner.
Mizuno's Forged Ti Muscle maintains thickness behind impact, for blade like workability – combined with forgiveness normally found in a cavity design. With weight saved from the middle portion of the club head, the mizuno mp-59 takes the characteristics of a full cavity design, with stability from off centre strikes. The thicker material behind impact ensures that centre strikes are rewarded with a solid impact. The centre of mp-59 irons gravity also remains close to the clubface - allowing ball strikers to produce controlled draws and fades.
Featuring a multi-material construction, the mizuno mp-59 irons are Grain Flow Forged from 1025E carbon steel with Ti Muscle Technology, resulting in full-cavity forgiveness in a half-cavity iron. Sound and feel are optimally tuned through Modal Analysis and Harmonic Impact Technology to provide the feedback that better players prefer. The pure titanium behind the sweet spot allows for the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area to deliver consistent and solid feel while providing a significant increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability.
You’ll be able to become a sales agent or perhaps the supervisor of a golfing manufacturer product line. You’ll be able to grow to be a great associate for you to playing golf pros. There’s also career for individuals who would appreciate grooming or preserving veggies as well as products. For the first time when I bought it, I find it used very well, with some special characteristics, you will improve your golf skills for a little time.

Powerful MP59 Irons
Golf club makers fell in love with titanium because it's stronger and lighter than steel. That means designers can make thinner driver faces, which creates discretionary weight that can be repositioned in other areas to improve performance.
But with the release of the new Mizuno MP-59 Irons, Mizuno uses titanium for a completely different purpose—forgiveness.
So…of course one of the sticks I was most looking forward to testing this year was their replacement the Mizuno MP-59 Irons. Well…speaking of the Mizuno MP-59 Irons…a couple weeks ago I got a quick glance at what the set would look like and I have to admit I was intrigued. And then these pics surfaced and sealed the deal. The 58′s have had a long run in the bag…but these just might be the ones that give them the boot!
The Mizuno MP-59 Irons are amazing. They made the 59′s harmonics better than then the 58′s, or the 62′s. The 59′s top line and sole are almost identical to the 68. The Mizuno MP-59 Irons is a lot easier to hit. They feel so much better than the 58. I think your expectations suck then, because you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. There is a lot of weight on the bottom and out on the perimeter. That is what makes the iron so great. If you want a hard club to hit then get, then get the 69.
Got a chance to try a Mizuno MP-59 Irons 6-iron with the KBS Tour shaft (!!!) yesterday. Saving my pennies, it was amazing. Forgiving, yet imparts precision; great Mizuno forged feel as always. Have auditioned many others but thinking this one’s the keeper; now have to find a full demo set to complete my evaluation…
You're lucky I agreed in advance with Mizuno to give the Mizuno MP-59 Irons away because the clubs are exactly what I'm looking for in my next set of irons. First and foremost, they feel good and even though they are rated for the better player, you don't have to be a PGA Tour player to hit them. Also (and almost equally important), I like the way they look. Call me vain, but one of the first things I do when I pick up a club off of the rack is to judge the appearance and the Mizuno MP-59 Irons put almost every other club to shame.

MP59 Irons, You Can Trust
Mizuno, a leader in golf technology and innovation, today announced the addition of the MP-69 irons to their already iconic muscleback lineup. Blending the input of Mizuno's PGA Tour staff members with state of the art design and simulation tools, the MP-69 irons are the perfect balance of patented Grain Flow Forged™ feel, and unmatched workability.
The titanium muscle that first appeared on the MP-58 remains, but has been redesigned for the Mizuno MP-59 irons. The head looks slightly more compact at address, but there is still noticeably more forgiveness compared to the shallow cavity MP-53 models.
When placed up next to the new MP-69 blade, there is very little difference in topline. This will scare some, but there is more surface area on the Mizuno MP-59 Irons, which makes these look a fraction more forgiving.
Mizuno always deliver in the looks department. There are few sets of irons that will attract as much attention as these while sat in the bag. Another beautiful set from Mizuno.
We have always been big fans of the solid performance of the classic Dynamic Gold shaft by True Temper. They reward good swings with strong flights, which particularly helps distance control.
Mizuno's Forged Ti Muscle maintains thickness behind impact, for blade like workability – combined with forgiveness normally found in a cavity design.
Optimised Ti Muscule
The thickness is provided by a lightweight Titanium insert, which is forged directly inside the Mizuno MP-59 Irons head for a one piece feel.
With weight saved from the middle portion of the clubhead, the Mizuno MP-59 Irons takes the characteristics of a full cavity design, with stability from off centre strikes. The thicker material behind impact ensures that centre strikes are rewarded with a solid impact. The MP-59's centre of gravity also remains close to the clubface - allowing ball strikers to produce controlled draws and fades.
The flight comes in at a happy medium – high enough for control when hitting into greens, but low enough to drive through the wind. The consistency was also impressive.
Make no mistake; the Mizuno MP-59 Irons are firmly aimed at the accomplished player. However, there is an element of forgiveness that most solid low-handicap golfers would benefit from as you would expect from such a classic-looking Mizuno iron, the feel through impact is superb. The Grain Flow forging process used by Mizuno makes these a joy to hit.
While the distance is, in itself, not particularly impressive, it is the consistency that makes the Mizuno MP-59 Irons excel. For those after more control of their shots, you will soon develop trust in these.

Mizuno MP-59 Irons
Say hello to the new Mizuno MP-59 Irons, the next generation of the company's award winning Ti Muscle Technology. The Mizuno MP-59 Irons are designed for the better player (between a 2-13 handicaps) but don't be fooled by the rating. I had the chance to hit the Mizuno MP-59 Irons and thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
While the Mizuno MP-59 Irons is made from steel, 12 grams of titanium are forged into a pocket behind the face of each club. (It's the slightly darker material in the photo above.) Mizuno says the titanium allows the clubs to maintain the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel while automatically redistributing the weight to the heel, toe and sole of the Mizuno MP-59 Irons.
"The more you push the weight out to the perimeter and the thinner you make it in the middle, there's a trade-off with feel," says David Llewellyn, research and development manager for Mizuno USA. "But by using a lower density material we can maintain thickness here and build in a little bit of forgiveness."
Llewellyn says that like all the other MP irons, the Mizuno MP-59 Irons have very little offset and a thin top line because that's what better players demand.
In fact, the heads of the Mizuno MP-59 Irons are slightly smaller than last season's MP-58, the first irons released with this feature that Mizuno calls Ti Muscle. Yet Mizuno claims the clubs have a sweet spot that is 5 percent larger.
The MP-58 has a titanium piece that is fairly uniform along the back," says Llewellyn. "On the Mizuno MP-59 Irons we focused the titanium right in the middle." That should make them perform better on mis-hits than their predecessors, he said.
You're lucky I agreed in advance with Mizuno to give the Mizuno MP-59 Irons away because the clubs are exactly what I'm looking for in my next set of irons. Powerful MP59 Irons
If you asked a room full of golfers "Who makes the best irons?", Mizuno would be one of the most frequent answers. The company has developed a strong reputation in the industry and among golfers for making great irons because of its patented Grain Flow Forged process. And if you've ever hit a Mizuno before, you've felt the difference.
Mizuno, a leader in golf technology and innovation, today announced the launch of the Grain Flow Forged™ MP-59 irons with the next generation of their award winning forged Ti Muscle technology. The Mizuno MP-59 Irons feature a titanium insert forged into the center of the muscle, which provides cavity like forgiveness in a player's half cavity design.

During the elaborate Grain Flow Forging process, 12 grams of pure Titanium material is forged into the muscle of the MP-59 to deliver a 5% larger Sweet Area compared to the MP-58, the iron which debuted Ti Muscle Technology, while taking home "Editor's Choice" in Golf Digest's 2010 Hot List. This provides the ideal amount of thickness behind the impact area for solid feel, while the higher density steel on the toe, heel, and sole provides a dramatic increase in perimeter weighting for enhanced playability. This design allows for an easier launch and more forgiveness due to both a lower Center of Gravity (COG) and larger sweet spot area. This revolutionary Ti Muscle technology maximizes feel and forgiveness, all in a compact players' head size.

MP-69 Irons Review
Following on from the highly-successful mp-68 irons, the new blades have been designed to offer workability and high levels of feel to the more accomplished golfer. Mizuno engineers designed a 4D Muscle innovation that means golfers can expect a slightly higher trajectory with the longer irons, and a more penetrative ball flight in the shorter sticks where distance control is crucial. In terms of looks, the mizuno mp-69 irons are as visually-pleasing as their predecessors but there is certainly a larger element of forgiveness about the new clubs, in spite of their bladed appearance.
The mizuno mp-69 irons, the next iconic mizuno muscle-back iron, was created by blending Mizuno's PGA Tour Staff input with the latest state-of-the-art design and simulation tools. This iron is the perfect balance of Grain Flow Forged feel and unmatched workability. The mizuno mp-69 irons feature the newly developed 4D muscle design. A strategic weighting strategy from 3-Iron through PW ensures ideal COG (Center Of Gravity) placement in every iron throughout the set to deliver total ball control and a predictable trajectory.
It's safe to say that Mizuno are best known for their stunning bladed irons and therefore the new mizuno mp-69 irons were hotly anticipated this year.
The mizuno mp-69 irons have been designed with more "helpful" trajectories in the longer irons but these are still very much for the skilled player who places feel and workability above all else. You can get the lowdown on the mizuno mp-69 irons blades in the current issue of today's golfer magazine, on sale now, and we'll have more information coming to the website soon. But for now we came across this video below with Chris Voshall from Mizuno's R&D department, which gives a great insight into the thinking behind the new design.
The sole shape of the mizuno mp-69 irons was slightly redesigned to maintain effective bounce while increasing overall workability through trailing edge relief. An ideally placed beveled trailing edge delivers more consistent ball striking with a Tour proven sole size and shape. Complete with the appropriate amount of relief for a deeper Center of Gravity (COG), Mizuno’s new sole design increases the versatility of the mizuno mp-69 irons. Modified U-grooves, which conform to the Condition of Competition 2010, produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.

The Mizuno mizuno mp-59 irons take the multi material concept further than its award winning predecessor. With its Ti weight more central to the club head the mizuno mp-59 irons creates even greater stability from off centre strikes. This increased stability allows for less offset to be used, improving the irons look at address. A thinner top line and weightier sole is finished with a new sole grind developed with Mizuno’s Tour players through 2011.

The Hybrid Style Irons-Mizuno MX-950 Irons Reviews
MIZUNO's goal in the creation of the new MX-950 was to deliver the most friendly game improvement iron set with no limit on cutting edge Technology. The new MX-950 irons are a breakthrough HYBRID DESIGNED set, with the unique ability to be custom built to your individual specifications. The MX-950's are ideal for the mid to high handicap player who is looking for ease of launch, unparalleled forgiveness and maximum game improvement playability. Multiple technologies and three distinct head designs deliver seamless game improvement performance.
Here is my Mizuno MX-950 Irons review, hope it helpful for you.
The Mizuno MX 950 Forged Irons are one of the finest clubs in a long line of excellent clubs. Designed for mid to high handicap players, the MX 950s have it all--the superior feel that Mizuno is famous for, excellent distance, great loft, spot-on accuracy, and so much forgiveness even Mother Theresa would be impressed.
When it comes to Mizuno's unique and "buttery" feel, it's all the result of their patented Grain Flow Forging process. While some of the older Ben Hogan clubs came close in feel, there's really no rival. And even though Mizuno has never been well known for distance, the MX 950s are even rivals for the Callaway X-Forged.

Also, another feature that Mizuno is well known for is the use of different types of steel in their clubs. The hybrids in the MX 950 irons are forged from 4135 high strength steel for maximum distance, while the shorter irons are forged from mild 1025E carbon steel. The combined effect is maximum distance and maximum playability.
If there is a downside to the MX 950s, it's their clunkiness. There not as bad as a set of Callaway "toasters", as some people call them, but they are a little bulky. However, despite this, these clubs have even appeared in use on the pro tours, because they're really just that good. Shafts are available in steel or graphite in R300 or S300 flex.
The Hybrid Style Irons-Mizuno MX-950 Irons Review
I have been playing golf 5 years.
I bought my Mizuno MX-950 irons about two years ago and have hit thousands of balls with them and played at least a hundred fifty rounds of golf.I put regular flex Grafalloy blue graphites in them a few have Mizuno Exsar regular flex graphites and ar comparable..
I am 53 years old and hit the ball pretty well. 8 iron 165 pitching wedge 145 and so on.
I was shooting in the 90s pretty regularly.I immediately dropped into the 80s and broke 80 for the first time last year.
I often leave my driver at home and use my 3 hybrid as my driver.People question this for about two tee shots and then want to knw what it is.
I easily hit it 240 and straight as an arrow.
The hybrid style irons are almost impossible to hit badly. They go further than any other I have tried and even miss hits go straight.I would not trade these irons for new golf clubs of any brand.Go get some. You will be thrilled!

Mizuno MP68 Irons on sale in golfulove.com
The new MP-68 Blade moves away from the cut muscle design that the MP-67 had and resembles the MP-37 with the muscle back developing from the toe area. The muscle back lines and edges however are smoother on the MP-68 than the MP-37 and some in Japan have said it reminds them of the classic MP-14 with its curved muscle back and sharp toe. Mizuno has also followed suit with its 2009 design guidlines by placing the running bird logo on the sole and the model MP-68 with new MP logo in the toe corner. The 0verall head and face is very compact and coupled with the thick muscle provide the purest feel of any Mizuno grain flow forged blade.
For the last several years pre release Mizuno head only sets have popped up far before the official release date. They look perfect to the untrained eye but when put on the scale the head weights are off and the hosel size often appears to be over or undersized. This has been the unfortunate case for many of Mizuno's MP models in recent years but its a consistent pattern. Right now there are sets on ebay and in certain forums of possible fakes. Im sure if you contact Mizuno they will say these are not Mizuno authorized products. This confuses us because we have been under the impression for many years that Mizuno Irons were made in the Chuo factory in Japan yet the origin of these imposters are Taiwan & Hong Kong
Assimilating the best features of Mizuno's great blades with an enhanced feel, the MP-68 delivers exact shot-making for professionals and highly skilled amateurs.

After research into vibration and sound (modal analysis), Mizuno R&D specified the frequencies required to create pure feedback and also the techniques by which to deliver them.
MP-68's scalloped muscle back and shorter hosel allow a lower, more centered COG location for a penetrating, workable ball flight. Neutral bias allows shots to be shaped both left and right.
A 3D muscle pad enables Mizuno's Grain Flow Forged construction to deliver the purest feedback of any Mizuno iron.
Head shape, offset and turf interaction are designed around feedback from Mizuno's Tour Workshops on the legendary MP-33. A more cambered top edge, straighter leading edge and compact PW create a look that surpasses even Mizuno's previous blades.
This model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

Mizuno Irons MX-100 on golfwholesalestore.com at best price for sale
The new Mizuno MX 100 Irons look great with the Mizuno Irons blue in the back and the Y-tune bar across the back of the head to help with off centre hits. The ultra pocket cavity similar to the MX 19 irons helps move the centre of gravity low in the head to help generate maximum launch for high and long golf shots. The Mizuno MX 100 Irons are available in RH graphite and steel options and LH steel only. Custom fitting is availble from 4 to SW making the Mizuno MX 100 a great golf club for new golfers to mid handicap golfers who are looking for value for money , a brand name you can trust and a fantastic performing set of golf irons.
The Mizuno Irons MX-100, released in 2008, are designed to be game improving clubs aimed at mid and higher handicappers. Mizuno made these irons with the intention that they would be very easy to hit, while offering great forgiveness.
At first glance they are very nice irons to look at. They have a nice design and some very nice graphics on the cavity.
As with most Mizuno irons there are a variety of shafts available, both in graphite and steel. The MX-100s we put to the test were equipped with MX Lite steel shafts in stiff flex.
If you would like to know more information about the specifications and shafts available for the MX-100 irons. Then you can follow this link to the Mizuno Golf website, which will open in a new window.
Probably the first thing most players will notice when they first hold the MX-100 irons is that, despite having larger heads, they are quite light-weight. If you're not used to lighter clubs it may take afew swings to get used to.
But in terms of performance, the large heads on these irons really did help to make them very easy to hit, most players should have no problem launching the golf ball with the MX-100s.
And this was generally the case through the whole set. Higher handicappers who prefer to have hybrids in their bag as opposed to intimidating long irons, may have that point of view changed after trying these clubs out.
Whether it's off the fairway or the tee, the longer MX-100 irons are probably some of the easiest to hit long irons ever made.
Admittedly the large cavity can be seen at times when looking down at address on some of the longer irons. But this is only abit distracting for a while, it just takes a bit of getting used to.
We didn't quite find these Mizuno irons as forgiving as what we thought they'd be. Some reasonable forgiveness was there but definitely not as much as on some other game improving irons on the market.
A slight mis-hit will still produce a reasonable shot, but if you're quite abit away from the sweet spot with a strike. Your shot is not likely to be landing around your desired target area.
However the distance and power these irons produce cannot be faulted. Though the ball flight is often a tad on the higher side, these irons can carry the golf ball a very long way when hit well.
And for the approach shots that do find their target and land on the green. The higher ball flight produced by these Mizuno irons really helps give the ball a softer landing. Providing that the greens aren't bone dry, most well hit shots should stop relatively quickly.
As far as game improvement irons go, the MX-100s in our opinion are one of the longest around, and can definitely make the game of golf more enjoyable, and easier, for a newcomer or a higher handicapper.
They pretty much do the job they're meant to. They are easy to hit and do offer a reasonable amount of forgiveness. Even some mid or lower handicap players shouldn't be put off by the stigma of using a game improvement iron.
Just now with most retailers there is a considerable difference between the price of the steel shaft and the graphite shaft models.
It's up to each player to make their own mind up about whether the extra money is worth it for graphite shafts. But we'd recommend that most players stick with steel shafts here, because overall they are better value for money.
